Dear arts supporter

Due to the COVID-19 virus we have had to cancel all of our spring programs. As we face major

financial hardship, we have now unfortunately, had to cancel our in person summer camp as well.

Usually, at this time, we would be welcoming 25 children a week for eight weeks to join in our engaging art camps. But as we all know, these are not normal days.

We recognize that children still need the creative stimulation our camps provide. So this summer we will be taking art exploration online! Kids will have the opportunity to take part in virtual summer camp sessions and experience a whole new world of creativity without leaving their home. We are still offering hands-on activities, art exploration and interactive games - it just happens to be virtually!

We are optimizing our online class room to ensure children receive quality instruction. We will be featuring a two-screen view for distance viewing and detailed demos, step-by-step feedback and plenty of opportunities for engagement with other classmates and the instructor. Our online curriculum is run by an instructor with online teaching experience. We have interactive games and activities planned that promote direct engagement rather then passive learning. We realize that young artists have a lot to say right now. We have adjusted each camp to include specific activities that connect our current environment to the creative process.

why do we need your help?

We have reached out to families. Many are interested and would like to register their child.

But, sign-ups are not an option for many who are also facing financial barriers at this time.

Button Factory Art has decided to create a program to support these families. This is where you come in! With your sponsorship of a child we can work together to deliver exciting programs to families who simply aren’t able to afford the cost this year. If you would like to help, please choose an option below

Of course, any amount donated to Button Factory Arts is appreciated at this time. There’s no deadline for when you can help. Donations can also be made by cheque, made payable to "Button Factory Arts" and mailed to:
