ABOUT THE JUROR: GINNY CARNEVALE
Ginny Carnevale is a Fine Arts graduate from the University of Guelph. She has been printmaking and exhibiting her work for over 25 years. Her printmaking process is inspired by patterns and light from both natural and constructed elements. Using a variety of printmaking mediums including relief, intaglio, and monotype, she reflects on the world around her. Ginny's work can be found in private collections in Canada, the United States, Australia and England. She is an active member of the Riverside Print Group.

The PRESS Exhibition, 2021 - Selection Process
Thank you all so much for submitting work to the Press show this year! I really enjoyed looking at everyone's work and learning about each of your processes and what motivated you to create your prints. Jurying was definitely not easy with this wide range of prints. Everyone has their own unique approach to printmaking and all of its different techniques. That is just one part of what I love about printmaking. There is no right or wrong in my eyes, there is only "Go for it!" I loved something different about each work submitted!
