I am a fibre artist based in Kitchener and on the Bruce Peninsula specializing in needle felting and wet felting with wool. I am a graduate of the Retail Florist Program at Seneca College. Felting has been part of my life for the past 15 years. My work is showcased with my partner Michael Rouse, through woolwaterneedle. Teaching felting is very enjoyable and I want to provide students with the techniques and space to be successful! My own work is influenced by the natural world. I create felted landscapes and a range of useful and decorative items. Being detail oriented, I love to include machine and hand stitching, fabric and beading into my pieces. I feel these additions create further depth, dimension and texture in the work. When I am not felting I do enjoy gardening, reading and other areas where I can create.
