After over a year of closure for construction, we are open again! But some things are different.

Our second floor space is for visual arts and not available to rent.

Our newly renovated first floor space is available to rent for certain activities at certain times. 

​

We have renewed our lease with the City of Waterloo and we have new rules and restrictions for our own activities and for our renters.

 

• The second floor is not allowed to be used for performing arts- prompting the layout change.

• Our capacity for the performance space is 100, but our capacity for the entire building is also 100, so if we have programming on upstairs, we cannot rent the performance space at full capacity. 

• The only times with full 100 person rental capacity are Saturday and Sunday nights. Sunday night full capacity rentals cannot open the house until 7pm and the performance cannot begin until 7:30 to ensure the upstairs programming space is empty. 

• Our building is not sound proof between floors, so when there is second floor programming there is noise in the rental space. The only quiet rental times are Saturday and Sunday nights. 

• We no longer rent for private or non-arts related events (i.e. weddings and birthday parties.

• We require proof of insurance (which can be provided through the City if needed)

• We staff all rentals.

• Rentals must be fore a minimum 4 hours.
