The Program Director leads the development of interdisciplinary programs to meet the needs of our diverse audiences. This position oversees contract instructors and staff, interns, and facilitators who deliver our regular programming. They are responsible for devising and managing an inclusive, engaging, year-round schedule of visitor-centred public and educational programs. 

This is a permanent part-time position (20 hours/week), with an expected wage of $20/hr. The application deadline is November 11, 2022.

We welcome candidates who are interested in joining the Board and supporting the next phase of Button Factory Arts’ evolution, including contributing to the development of our next strategic plan. We are seeking individuals who are interested in providing visionary leadership and advisory support, and welcome applicants with expertise in visual arts, and/or backgrounds in development, fundraising, accounting, and law.

Board members are responsible for ensuring the overall health of the organization, while providing leadership and vision to foster its strength, stability, and evolution.
