Akycha surette

Akycha Surette’s great love is ceramic sculpture and relief tile work, though she currently works in multiple mediums including wool needle felting, mixed media collage, and watercolour, ink and acrylic painting. She has a studio arts degree and a master’s in art history. Her ceramic work can be found in both public and private collections throughout North America.

Akycha’s preferred subjects include the human body in movement, and the reimagining of concepts around mythology and spirituality.
