JANE ALDERDICE

I am a watercolour painter and weaver, working from my home studio in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. I relocated from Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia two years ago where I lived for over a decade. I have a Bachelor of Design degree from the Ontario College of Art and Design University where I studied textile design. My main focus these days is on watercolour paintings with a botanical theme and landscapes as well as contemporary tapestries. I have been studying botanical illustration with graphite and watercolour for the past three years. I enjoy teaching and helping students learn and offer workshops and classes in drawing & watercolour, and tapestry.
