Yarnbombing! Knit and crochet graffiti! Urban knitscaping! While it has a variety of names, yarnbombing is the art of wrapping urban items in yarn crafted items! Some examples include tree sweaters, pole cozies, and many large projects such as crocheting an entire bus!
Button Factory arts is offering a 3 week course where the group will crochet a giant piece and install it on BFA grounds. Some suggested ideas are: the solar system, an ocean scene, or a picnic! Ideas welcome! Yarn will be provided, but please bring your own crochet hook to the class. Basic crochet experience required, but no need to be an expert.
