Workshop 3: Shaping Together | Expressive Arts Therapy (ONLINE)
Thursdays, April 6 - 27, 6-7:30pm FREE Material Kit Provided. Kit pickup location and times will be provided upon registration.
Shift*ing Perspective is a series of Expressive Arts Therapy workshops for Healthcare Practitioners working or living in Cambridge. Workshops are open to all healthcare workers - nurses, personal support workers, disability support workers, long-term care staff, mental health workers and are facilitated by Expressive Arts Therapist Catherine Mellinger.
We will shape and build together using different forms of clay. Exploring fine and gross motor movement while we shape, flatten, roll, push and pull, we will play with building based on movement and feeling. All abilities welcome, no previous experience required. We can also adapt all activities to hand and arm injuries for participants, as well as explore how we can use other parts of our bodies to shape the clay.
Fully online program. A short intake form will be emailed after registration.
Staff will connect by email during business hours before the next class start date. A Zoom meeting link will be sent along with course information via email prior to the start date.
If this class is full and you'd like to be added to the waitlist, please email us with your name, email, phone number, and course code. If you need any further assistance, please contact the Program Director: firstname.lastname@example.org
