Submission details
1 piece of artwork- $15
2 pieces of artwork- $25
3 pieces of artwork- $30
Awards will be given out at the opening reception in various categories selected by this year's juror. Awarded at the opening reception. Please note, BFA is acting as an agent for the artist. 30% commission will be deducted from the sale price of each work sold during the show. Taxes are the responsibility of the artist.

All work must be original in concept and content.

Each piece must be properly and safely equipped to suit BFA’s hanging system.

Paintings and other media must be dry, wired and ready to hang.

Entrants are encouraged to use simple framing.

Only work not previously shown by BFA will be accepted.

Photography, printmaking, collage, mixed media, drawing, painting and 3-D works will be accepted. (space permitting)

The artist must firmly attach ONE label to the BACK of their work indicating name, title, medium and price. Do not label the front side for jurying purposes.

Work that does not meet the criteria will not be accepted for entry.

All work left 60 days beyond pick-up date become the property of Button Factory Arts.

Juror: Laurie Wonfor Nolan
A graduate of the Sheridan College Illustration program, Laurie started her career as a commercial artist in 1983. Combining those skills with her love of the land, she began painting in 1996. Three years later she had her first solo show of large scale ‘plein air’ landscapes in Toronto. Although, painting in the landscape continues to be a large part of her art practice, new subjects, ideas and inspiration propel her work as an artist.
Laurie began teaching in 2008 offering a variety of classes and workshops at the Cambridge Centre for the Arts, Dundas Valley School of Art, as well as in her loft studio in Hespeler, ON.
Laurie’s work can be found in corporate and private collections in Canada, USA, Italy, Germany and Austria.
Awards include the Bernice Adams Memorial Award for Visual Art and the KW Women of Distinction Award for Arts and Culture.
Today, Laurie’s residence, studio and gallery space are located in a renovated church in beautiful Roseville (Ayr), ON. Chapel Studio has become a haven for artists and art lovers. Mentorship programs, private sessions and specialized workshops are offered during this time. The Gallery is open for private appointments unless otherwise posted.
