Here are the answers to some questions you might have:
Where can I park?
There is free 2 hour parking across the street by the Paul Puncher Menswear store. There is also parking available for a fee in the parkade next door. There is a post in front of the Button Factory where you can lock up your bicycle.
Is the building Wheelchair Accessible?
Our main floor is accessible via a ramp along the left side of the building. Please ring the buzzer and a staff member will open the door for you. Unfortunately, the second floor is only accessible by stairs.
How do I register for a class?
You can register by phone, online, in person, or emailing/faxing the registration form. We can only secure your spot once your payment has been received.
What happens if I register and the class is cancelled?
If we don't meet the minimum enrollment for a program, we will notify you at least 5 days before the scheduled start date and will issue a credit or refund if there is not another comparable program that works for you. We encourage students to sign up with a friend or to share the program guide with others so that as many classes as possible are able to run each session.
What are the age recommendations for Adult and Youth classes?
Unless it is specified in the class description, adult programs are recommended for individuals aged 16 years or older. Youth classes are usually divided into ages 5-9 and 10-15.
Do you really make buttons at the Button Factory?
We don't make traditional buttons any longer, but we do make pin-back badge buttons with artistic designs which are available in our Gift Shop. Please see the history page for more information about this historical building.
Can I rent the Button Factory for my event?
Please see our rentals page for more information.
