calling all film-makers in training! once a week, the button factory will become the lego® factory. children will have the opportunity to imagine, build and film their lego® world using stop-motion animation. this is a hands-on class allowing kids to create storyboards, build with lego® and then to use video cameras, mac computers and the istopmotion program. returning students will be given new skills to learn this time. students will be thrilled with their very own mini movies!

come and unleash your inner artist and discover your creativity by exploring art! learn to draw your portrait in the style of another artist, dip into some watercolour and use your imagination to create exquisite creatures through some mixed-media fun! each class will cover a new project and different medium exploring colour, line, texture and repetition. no experience required; beginners welcome.

ever wanted to make your own clothing? use a sewing machine? do you love to look through boxes of fabric? then this is the course for you. feel free to create anything as you learn the basics of sewing and how to improvise designs in this open format class. students will learn to make hats as part of an organized project. on the last class, students will show off their creations on the runway at our fashion show for friends and family.
