DRAWING FROM LIFE (VA-12-16)

Participants of all skill levels will have the opportunity to draw from a different live nude model every week, while gaining an intuitive understanding of the human form. From quick gestures (30 seconds to 5 minutes) to more complex, extensive poses (15 to 40 minutes), hone your craft - at your own pacein this friendly and informative studio environment. Individual feedback, along with portfolio review from the instructor, is available upon request. Must be at least 18 (or with consent from instructor).

PORTRAIT DRAWING TECHNIQUES (VA-12-17)

An introduction to relief printing involving developing the print subject

COLD MOUNTAIN CRANE TAI CHI/QIGONG (VA-12-10)

Based upon the older (mid-1800s) Yang family of Tai Chi, Cold Mountain Crane form is also based upon a Qigong excercise developed and presented to the Bereaved Families of ontarion in 2010. This sequence of 13 postures, modeled upon the martial arts and meditative forms of Crane movement, is graceful, expansive and beautiful. It stabilizes balance, cultivates deep relaxation, and harmonizes the essential energies of body and mind.

THE ART OF YOGA (VA-12-39)

This class begins with a centering experience, including yoga asana
(posture), pranayama (breathing), and meditation. From this new found
